Why Pariticipate in the Expo?

China Police Expo, a unique biennial exhibition on police technology and equipment in China. This authoritative and professional exhibition aims to establish Beijing as the largest and most reliable business platform for police equipment and technology in the Asia-Pacific region—a central hub that can respond to requests from all the public security departments across China.

China Police Expo is China’s ONLY authorised police exhibition.
China Police Expo is approved and supported by MPS. The Expo is organised by the Ministry’s Equipment and Finance Bureau (responsible for all equipment procurements for the public security departments in 34 provinces, cities, and autonomous regions in China), the Public Security Bureau, the 1st  Research Institute of MPS, and China Promotion Ltd, with assistance from JingAn I/E Co. Ltd, the Ministry’s official I/E company.

More than 20,000 visitors from companies and public security departments will visit the Expo.
More than 20,000 decision makers involved in public security—including representatives from  companies at home and abroad, local police departments, special forces, and law enforcement departments—will come to the Expo looking for the equipment and technologies they plan to order and purchase in their special duties as well as their normal daily operation.

Last year’s Expo featured 324 exhibitors from 16 countries/regions, covering 30,000M2 of exhibition area. Expo turnover reached 1.2 billion RMB.

The 2nd China International Police Summit (CIPS) will be held in conjunction with the Expo.
The main purposes of the Summit are to exchange experiences with international police departments and to create opportunities for international companies to promote their hi-tech products, including anti-riot equipment, explosive detective equipment and technologies, surveillance devices, cubic command systems, and forensic technologies.

Attending the Summit can also offer you an accurate and clear understanding of the public security industry in China. Listen as top officials from MPS and decision makers from the Equipment and Finance Bureau of MPS, the Public Security Bureau of MPS, and local police departments elaborate on new public security developments in China. Senior officers from the National Institute of Justice (NIJ), H.P. White Laboratory, and international police departments will also be on hand to share their experiences, their expertise, and their requests for new technology.

Solve problems during interactive panel discussions and technical seminars.
The Equipment and Finance Bureau of MPS has collected detailed requests from the local police departments in 34 provinces, cities, and autonomous regions. Decision makers and key representatives will be invited to attend interactive panel discussions and seminars to discuss these requests. International vendors can participate in these panel discussions and seminars to promote their products, understand the Chinese public security market, and determine whether their products fit the Chinese market and meet the various local requests. Chinese public security department officers can attend these panel discussions and seminars to learn about new international hi-tech equipment and find the best suppliers. We believe many key problems and questions will be solved during these discussions and seminars.

Take advantage of other value-added Expo services.
To enable ongoing promotion of your products in China, the organising committee will post detailed product overviews, photos, and videos for registered exhibitors on the official websites www.ciepe.com and www.Chinapoliceinfo.com for six months following the Expo.

Equipment and Finance Bureau, Ministry of Public Security is the largest buyer.
The budget for public security equipment in China has been increasing by 20% annually since 2006. In 2009, 19 billion RMB was spent in the public security industry construction.
