Asia Pacific Police Logistics & Equipment Trading Platform (5th Event)

21-24 April, 2010, Beijing Exhibition Center, China

Organized by the Equipment Finance Bureau, the Public Security Bureau and the First Research Insititute of Ministry of Public Security (MPS), co-organized by China Jing An Import Export Corporation and China Promotion Ltd, the 5th China International Exhibition on Police Equipment (China Police 2010) was successfully held in Beijing Exhibition Center, 21-24 April 2010.

 VIP Visit on April 23, 2010

In the evening of April 23, Mr. Zhou Yongkang(周永康)Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Political Bureau & General Secretary of Politics and law committee of Chinese Communist Party, Mr. Liu De(刘德)Vice Minister of Public Security, Mr. Liu Jin Guo(刘金国)Vice Minister of Public Security, and some other officials visited the exhibition.
 
As the most authoritative expo in domestic industry, China Police 2010 drew over 300 exhibitors from 14 countries and regions around the world including world branded companies such as Augustawestland, BMW, Motorola, Lenovo, Safran Group and Volvo. Based on past success, China Police 2010 has expanded its size to 30,000 sq.m and fully occupied the exhibition area of Beijing Exhibition Center.  93% of the exhibitors were satisfied with attending this exhibition, and 92 % of them believe it was a successful exhibition to them, over 50% of the exhibitor received orders at site.  Around 90% of the international exhibitors want to participate in the next expo in 2012.

Despite the setback of financial crisis and Iceland volcanic eruption, the expo has proved to be a world-class event by attracting more than 30,000 trade buyers from 31 countries and regions including France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, the U.S.A. etc.  Local visitors were mainly from the departments of MPS, The Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA), The People’s Armed Police Force (PAP), the Judicial System, Courts, Procuratorates, Customs, Monetary Security Offices and Research Institutes at all levels across the country.

Among all the visitors, 51% are for purchasing and searching for new products, 27% for marketing research, and 15% for meeting suppliers and manufactures. This indicates this show has successfully attracted qualified visitors.

Exhibition HighlightsSorted by categories
Exhibitors were arranged in different halls under specialist categories, making it convenient for trade buyers to easily locate suppliers in their particular field. A special hall was purposely arranged for sensitive products. Over 40 exhibitors displayed their advanced technique investigation products and technologies.

Concurrent Forum
China International Police Forum on Equipment Development and New Equipment Demonstration was held on April 20, 2010 at the Tuan He Campus of China Peoples Public Security University. Guest speakers from government and industry shared their experience with over 400 attendees. 

-   Exchanges among the local officials and the police equipment Enterprises
This section is to provide a platform of dialogue between companies and public security bureaus, aiming to build up mutual understanding and supply foundation.

Evening banquet
The organizing committee held an evening banquet on 21st April 2010 to show the appreciation for the support from the exhibitors and government officials. This cocktail reception banquet was specially arranged by the organizer to facilitate direct communication between officials from the MPS and the exhibitors. Over 140 attendees including Deputy Ministers of Public Security, heads of bureaus of the MPS and the Provincial Department of Public Security, police officials from embassies as well as decision makers from worldwide enterprises were present at the banquet.

Signing Ceremony
A Signing Ceremony was held on 23rd April. A sum of nearly 200 Million RMB worth contracts were signed between the Equipment & Finance Bureau of MPS, the First Research Institute of MPS, China Jing An Import Export Corporation and 8 industry enterprises. This proves again that the exhibition has created visible profits for exhibitors.
